Search in expert mode
Search in expert mode is the most efficient search. This mode is recommended for use by people who are familiar with the requirements of advanced search.
Advantages of this method of search are to high flexibility and the ability to write much faster query sentence.
Search language is universal and for this reason appears in English in the window. The user will write in which favors and has representation and database content.
To achieve searches we offer some examples.
Example 1
To search for all English-language editions of a work titled "Titanic" proceed as follows:
1. press the button labeled "All titles"
2. Inpu the title of "Titanic"
3. click on "AND"
4. click on "Language"
5. Make as codified language 'eng'
6. click on "Search" located at the bottom, right.
The syntax looks like this:
all_titles: Titanic AND lang: eng
2nd Example
To search for a work on "welded pipes" and "material technology", published in "Boston" proceed as follows:
1. click on the Subject
2. insert the first topic of interest: "welded pipes"
3. click on "AND"
4. and press the "Subject"
5. insert the text of the second subject of interest "material technology"
6. click on "AND"
7. click on "Place of publication"
8. insert text Boston
9. click on "Search" located at the bottom, right.
The syntax looks like this:
subject: welded pipes AND subject: material technology AND publish place: Boston
3rd Example
To search for a title in which the text of "toothed wheels", as well as the topic of "toothed wheels" in USA published on Philadelphia proceed as follows:
